RECORDING: The LAST TOUR of a museum dedicated to the art of VENTRILOQUISM

Featuring Comedy/Ventriloquism Superstar, Jeff Dunham!

Vent Haven Museum in Fort Mitchell, KY is the world’s largest collection dedicated to the art of ventriloquism. In 2022, it will have a newly constructed building to preserve the art further.

Jeff Dunham

Jeff Dunham, Tony Award winner and TV sitcom star Jay Johnson, Willie Tyler (and Lester) and TWO America’s Got Talent winners (Terry Fator and Darci Lynn Farmer) are featured in the museum along with legends Edgar Bergen, Jimmy Nelson, Shari Lewis and Paul Winchell.

This “last tour” of the original buildings before they are torn down for construction is given by curator, Lisa Sweasy.

Jeff Dunham stops in (scrub to 40-minute mark in the video) to say goodbye the buildings and share his thoughts and memories of the museum. Dunham has been attending the Vent Haven International Ventriloquist Convention since his preteen years and has been strongly associated with the museum.

Three years ago, the board of the museum made the decision to move forward with the construction of a new building and a capital campaign was started. Since that time, major donors stepped forward including Dunham and Board of Advisor member, Dale Brown. Most astounding is how the city of Fort Mitchell and surrounding businesses and organizations have claimed the museum as a jewel in the community and have supported the campaign.

Enjoy this last look at the museum as it stands today, hear the top ten questions people ask on a tour, and see this most amazing collection.
